we are and what we do
Energy
Minerals Pty. Ltd. is an independent consulting
practice specialising in providing exploration
management, resource assessment, mine geology,
coal utilisation and environmental management
services to clients in the mineral exploration
and mining industries. It was established in 1978
and deals mainly though not exclusively with
clients interested in coal, minerals and
petroleum in Queensland.Managing
Director
The managing
director, Christopher Wallin, is a professional
geologist, a Fellow of the Australasian Institute
of Mining and Metallurgy and a Fellow of the
Australian Institute of Geoscientists. Mr Wallin
has over twenty-five years experience in
exploration and mining in Queensland.
The
Team
Energy
Minerals employs a team of specialist
geoscientists possessing wide experience in the
minerals’ industry. Senior staff have been
employed by both local and international coal
producers, research and development
organisations, government departments, and
private consulting companies. Energy
Minerals staff are licenced Minemap mine planning
software users and are familiar with numerous
software packages on both DOS/Windows PC's and
Unix workstations. As QSet subscribers we obtain
monthly updates on the tenement situation in
Queensland and produce maps and reports as
required.
